This house blend is a recipe from one generation to another. Shared below is a recipe from our grandmother for you to try or you can refer to recipes online to try out this spice :)

Ingredients

Coriander, fennel, cumin, cardamom, white pepper, cinnamon & nutmeg. 

60gm per bottle. 

 

Yah’s Egg Korma with Tempeh

Ingredients to Blend:

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic (use 2 if small)
  • 2–3 green chillies (adjust to taste)

 

 

How to cook:

  • 1–2 tbsp Yah’s Korma spice mix
  • Water (adjust to desired gravy thickness)
  • 1/4-1/2 small pack of Kara coconut milk 
  • 3 Boiled eggs
  • A pack of tempeh (cut in small pieces & fried)
  • A wedge of lime (for finishing)

 

 

 

 

 

Method:

  1. Blend the onion, garlic, and green chillies until smooth.
  2. Sauté the blended mixture in a pan with 1–2 tbsp of Yah’s Korma until the oil splits (similar process to cooking curry).
  3. Add water gradually, depending on how thick you want your gravy.
  4. Pour in a little coconut milk to add creaminess.
  5. Drop in boiled eggs or fried tempeh, simmer until flavours are infused.
  6. Just before serving, squeeze in some lime juice to add a glossy shine to this classic dish.
