This house blend is a recipe from one generation to another. Shared below is a recipe from our grandmother for you to try or you can refer to recipes online to try out this spice :)
Ingredients :
Coriander, fennel, cumin, cardamom, white pepper, cinnamon & nutmeg.
60gm per bottle.
Yah’s Egg Korma with Tempeh
Ingredients to Blend:
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic (use 2 if small)
- 2–3 green chillies (adjust to taste)
How to cook:
- 1–2 tbsp Yah’s Korma spice mix
- Water (adjust to desired gravy thickness)
- 1/4-1/2 small pack of Kara coconut milk
- 3 Boiled eggs
- A pack of tempeh (cut in small pieces & fried)
- A wedge of lime (for finishing)
Method:
- Blend the onion, garlic, and green chillies until smooth.
- Sauté the blended mixture in a pan with 1–2 tbsp of Yah’s Korma until the oil splits (similar process to cooking curry).
- Add water gradually, depending on how thick you want your gravy.
- Pour in a little coconut milk to add creaminess.
- Drop in boiled eggs or fried tempeh, simmer until flavours are infused.
- Just before serving, squeeze in some lime juice to add a glossy shine to this classic dish.
